This study is based on the analysis of numerous data collected from an associative model which aim at representing the declarative knowledge of the subjects: the model of Basic Cognitive Schemata (Guimelli & Rouquette, 1992; Rouquette, 1994). This analysis shows that 3 cognitive "meta-schemata" are usually activated by the subjects to manage their knowledge and especially the specific knowledge that are social representations. In fact, these 3 meta-schemas should reflect 3 dimensions of social representations: a descriptive dimension, a functional dimension and an evaluative dimension.
